The "Manage Users" dashboard is an interface that lets you manage your project and who has access to it as well as the access type (i.e. read, write, etc.)
The page is composed of two sections:
- Project details on top where you can see the project name and can add a description
- Members where exists a list of people who are granted access to the dataset. You can search in the list by email address or filter the data based on the access type. You can also modify the permissions that have already been granted.
Under Relevance AI's platform, you can grant your colleagues different permission types, so that teams can cooperate on shared projects. In other words, you have control over who has access to your data, and dashboards and how they can interact with it.
To invite a new user, click on "Invite user". A window will open on which you can specify
- if the invitee is a new admin or not
- to which dataset the new invitee has access and the access type
- to which dashboards the new invitee has access
If you wish to invite someone with admin level of permission to the whole project, simply toggle the "Admin" button on, type the invitee's email address and Hit "Send invite".
You can invite a to multiple datasets at once. Click on Datasets drop down menu, and then on " +Add".
A list will open up which contains all datasets saved under your project. In front of each dataset name exists a drop-down menu from which you can select the type of access you wish to grant to the invitee. By default no dataset is accessible to anyone but the owner/admin (i.e. "No access").
Select the intended dataset(s), specify the corresponding permission type for each one and it will be shown on the list.
Note: If a permission is already granted, it can be viewed and modified on the main "Manage user screen".
The process is similar to what was explained under datasets above. Activate dashboard-selection by clicking on the down arrow. Click on "+Add" and select the dashboard you wish to share with the intended read or write access. The selection will be shown on the window.
You can specify if the invitee can see the other users or not as shown in the image above.
Finally, type in the invitee's email address and hit "Send invite".
Note: You can see each invite status and modify it on the main "Manage Users" page.
Under user management, you can see a list of people who have been invited to your project and their permissions.
Hover over the row where you wish to modify and click on "Edit".
A window will open on which you can see the shared datasets and dashboards. Furthermore, it is possible to modify the granted access.
You can also remove the person from the user list by clicking on "Remove".
